ABOUT US
Designed to Dance is a dance studio aimed at providing quality, age appropriate training in a variety of dance styles to children 4 years and older.
We understand and studies have proven that dance is not only an effective and fun way to exercise but also helps:
• build confidence & self-esteem
• builds an appreciation for what you can accomplish and a respect for those who work hard to reach their goals
• develops a sense of teamwork and camaraderie amongst fellow dancers.
• gives children a safe, wholesome and productive opportunity to develop a possible hidden passion/talent.
At Designed to Dance classes are a combination of open work as well as syllabus from internationally recognized dance examination bodies (AIDT and RAD) which lay the foundation for technique and performance.
Our pupils are entered into yearly studio examinations where their technique and progress is assessed by an external examiner and we also participate in festivals and eisteddfods to ensure pupils get the experience and exposure only stage performance can offer.
The proper training and technique of a dancer is not something that can be learned overnight - it takes years of perseverance, hard work and discipline and for this reason Designed to Dance have a holistic approach to working with our pupils and believe in developing close relationships and communication with pupils and their parent in order to support and encourage our pupils on their dance journey.
